FoodShare is Moving!

FoodShare is an awesome organization that helps to provide healthy food and food education for all people. They are moving in August, to 120 Industry Street in the Weston Mount-Dennis community, and they need our help! Their new location doesn’t have a kitchen, yet.

They are launching a one-month crowd funding campaign to help move their industrial kitchen. As with all crowd funding campaigns, it’s easy to donate online; every little bit helps and word of mouth can make amazing things happen!

Young Diabetes Research Study

McGill University Health Centre is recruiting young Canadians (ages 14-24) with Type 1 Diabetes for a study.  They would like to gather feedback (via a 20 minute long online questionnaire) on how youth living with type 1 diabetes feel they are being judged by others due to their disease.   The goal of the study is to find better ways to help these individuals cope with their disease.

Participants will complete a 20 – minute online questionnaire and receive a $10 gift card from Amazon.ca

This study is funded by the Canadian Diabetes Association:
